Purpose and Goals
The Perry Academic Booster Club is organized exclusively for charitable purposes to support the academic extracurriculars of the Perry Local School District, under section 501(C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954. The goals will be to assist in raising funds and assisting with events to help support the academic extracurriculars of the Perry Local Schools.
We support the academic needs of Perry High School and Perry Middle School through:
- Advocating for academic excellence
- Sponsoring all academic extracurricular activities for grades 7th-12th
- Supporting funding for academic extracurricular activities and competitions at District, State, National, and International Levels
- Supporting academic enrichment programs
- Supporting educational experiences
- Purchasing materials and technology to support academic programs
- Providing a network of volunteers to support academic activities, programs, and enrichment
We increase community awareness of Perry School District through a recognition process that honors top students in grades 7 - 12. Community members can see the value of education and the hard work that make Perry an excellent district:
1) Teacher / Staff Award
2) Perry Academic Booster Club (PABC) College Scholarship
3) PABC Student of the Year
4) Student Liaisons at board meetings
5) College Fair
6) Important academic dates and information posted on website
